I can verify that the file "CoreSitemapProvider_05.06.01_Install.zip" is in the providers directory in the Install folder... Any other thoughts?

What is even more strange is when I restore the site files... in the host setting it says this:

DotNetNuke Community Edition

05.06.00 (459)

Why would the install procedure say it is already at 5.6.1?

I posted another thread, not realizing someone else was having a similar problem. Approximately a week ago I upgraded my 5.6.0 version to 5.6.1 without any problems.
Today after deciding to restructure the entire site (experimenting) i loaded the new install version after deleting my old site and created a new MS SQL database.
Now I get partially through the install when DNN asks which providers do I want to install. I am given four options ( 2 @ 5.6.0 and 2 @ 5.6.1) and a coresitemap
provider (5.6.0) greyed out andf selected as default. I immediately get an error that the coresitemap provider can not be installed.

Couple of questions;
1) Why are these options all of sudden showing up during install, as I have never seen them before and it is not
discussed during any of the tutorials.
2) What can i do to fix the problem?

Fred, can you please list the providers you may choose between, I haven't noticed it when installing DNN 5.6.1 earlier this week.

Cheers from Germany,
