Hi everyone,

Basic question: Is it possible to pack a skin with custom made user controls ?
Verion:5.x
Mission: Improve accessibility with DNN
Example: I'm a dnn website admin, I don't have "core" privileges, I would like to change the Search.ascx user control so I can add a Label:
<asp:Label AssociatedControlID="txtSearchNew" style="display:none;" runat="server">Search:</asp:Label>
and add Access Keys support.

Can I build my own search control and pack it with the skin ? by copying/paste search.ascx/vb to a local_resource directory in my skin folder?
On my development workstation it worked, will it work when I send the packaged skin to the host user to install it ?

You could create a custom skin object and in DNN 5 you can install that with the skin package.
That would then be based on the core search skin object.
You can also include code by adding script tags to your skins ascx file.
