Hi All,
I have just created my first new portal since the latest upgrade and noticed a problem with Page Permissions.
The "All Users" is padlocked and cant be changed and administrators is "Green Ticked"
If I create a new page, the same permission settings show. Then if I log out, the "Admin bar is still visible at the top. Although it does error if you try to do something.

I have used your default skin when I created this.
Even when I add a new page, the permissions are all clear except a padlock on all users.

Do I have a problem or is this a bug?

Thanks
Mark

I don't know if it will help you but we encountered the same problem on tatest versions when creating portals with an other language than en-US.
The workaround consisted to remove the bad portal and create new portal using native language.

Big Thanks Stephane. This worked for me.

Procedure as I didn't want to change language settings of my main account

  1. Create a new portal (Not one you want to use) - This  will create a portal with all the issues described at the begiining of this post.
  2. Log into this newly created portal as admin
  3. Go to languages and set the default language to English United States. - Click Update
  4. Uncheck all other languages. - Click Update.
  5. This should leave you with a portal that is just English United States
  6. Log out from that portal and lg back in on that portal again, but this time as host.
  7. Create your new Portal (The one that you wish to use)
  8. Logout as host
  9. Log in to your new portal as admin, set your default language - Click Update
  10. Uncheck English United States and click update.
  11. Check Permission settings on pages. These should now be OK.
  12. Log out of this portal and log back in again as host
  13. Remove the Portal you first created.
  14. Logout
  15. Done

Hopefully you nice guys can fix this soon. There often seems issues in any other languages. Perhaps these need testing in at least one other language before release of updates.

Many Thanks again to Stephane for pointing us in the right direction and I hope this post can help others.

Hi,

same is happening to me.
Moreover, the control panel becomes visible for everybody, when I log out of the portal.

I have already re-created the portal, but the problem reoccured after adding an new page.

Any idea how long it may take to fix this? If this will take long, I will have to go back to an older version of DNN.

Greetings,
Sabine
