I have been struggling with this issue for days and nothing seems to work. I have been trying to drill down and set folder permissions on our DotNetNuke site. I am getting the following error (even as a SuperUser):

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.FileManager.FileManager.GeneratePermissionsGrid() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.FileManager.FileManager.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I initially restarted the application pool, no luck. I emptied the Files,Folders,and FolderPermissions tables and still nothing occurs. I went to Synchronize the file system and it throws the object reference error as seen in these details from the event log:

In addition I checked for filenames with weird characters and there are none in my file structure. In a last ditch effort I restored the site to a time when the system was indeed working and it threw the same errors.

I need a resolution so if anyone has any suggestions/fixes, please let me know.
