I have created a DNN profile checkbox field called "School" list with 5 options. I also created a DNN profile field text box for "Other" in which the user can add additional information. I need to combine "School" selected options and the "Other" option into one DNN Core field. I am struggling to do so.

I also have the need to combine 4 other DNN fields into one DNN field.

One last thing I need it to update automatically if a user changes his mind after the initial registration.

What is the best way to do this?

OK here's my dilemma I'm using Smart Thinker "Smart Social" modules. However, the "User Profile Search" directory is limited on how I could search for users in my area. For example: I can find users from "California". But, I can't find users from "California" that is part of the "Chess" club.

On my Registration page I ask users their "state" and what "clubs" they belong to.

The values are stored in to two DNN profile fields, "state" and "club". In order for me to conduct this type of search in Smart Social I would need to merge the two fields into one field. Then perform the user search "California chess" to get the right results.

For this matter I would need to have ALL DNN profile fields merge into a single field called "full search". Hopefully I explained it better. This is a major problem for me and my site right now.

Is there a way I could accomplish this?

Anyone have an ideal how to resolve this?

you will need to create custom property types with get only, but I haven't checked, whether this is possible.
