I created a new module in DNN and have put some link buttons and drop down lists on my form. Now I know this isn't using the DNN framework properly but for speed I added some code to the Page_Load to populate the drop down lists and put onclick calls on my buttons which call

protected void functions (yes, it's in C#). Anyway, once I got the cache down to 0 everything worked fine; the drop down lists were populated and the buttons did their jobs. But when I'm not logged in to the CMS (host or admin) the Page_Load code doesn't run and the callback on the click of my buttons doesn't call the functions.

Is there a quick fix to get this working or am I going about this all the wrong way?

My 1st choice is to check the module and page permissions: maybe the page is visible only to registered users and so the module, maybe the module is visible only to registered users. Then I would set breakpoints and debug.
