A week ago I purchased the Swirlchat module and had a issue getting it running. I put in a trouble ticket and posted on their forums. A week goes by and the only reply I get is a email saying my trouble tkt has been closed! No communication or real reply about my issue just automated emails. Sadly I should have done better research as I am not the only one looking at their forums that have gotten their money taken but 0 support. I would strongly suggest if you are looking for a chat module to avoid this module and this company.

Did you purchase that via snowcovered.com? Or did directly from their website?

If from their website, can you post their url here please?

If from snowcovered.com, I believe there are tools to get money back after purchase, I might be wrong.

Swirlchat is provided by Swirlhost (www.swirlhost.com) and sold via Snowcovered. AFAIK there hasn't been any update for more than 2 years now.

In fairness I wanted to update. I was told by the dev of the module it was a 'trouble ticketing error' my tkt went unseen for a week (however no explanation why my support forum post went unanswered as well) he did give me a refund and offered to still help me get my module working. I replied to his email and once again, have not heard back now going on 5 days. Quite frustrating to say the least but at least I got a refund so out of fairness to him I wanted to post that in reply to my OP. However seems less then professional attention to detail. And as mentioned above the module hasn't been updated in 2 years however claims the next version is 'soon' has been posted for the past year+.

Is there any other -good- IRC like chat module for DNN I can use you folks can suggest? I need a chat module where I can give staff mod ability to kick, ban, mute, etc. and one that can handle hundreds of users at once minimum. Thanks.
