We using the Email provider for payments. However it would be preferable that the mail sent could have banking details, and other info so that a user has the full payment details immediately, and does not have to wait for the store admin to send it through when they get the notice..

This is also especially handy for site's that do not want to have banking details published live on the site..

Hi

Sorry, about manners.. was very late at night when i posted...

Let me Expand a bit more...

Is is possible to have in the settings for email provider (there are none currently), simply a text entry box that can contain an aditional information that should go with the Initial "Confirmation of your Order # ......" Email.. that could contain the banking details, Additional info, etc..

Although our store is not live yet we are doing some testing and this was one of the Question put forward by most of the testers...

Thanks.

Rich..

Hi Rich,

You can use the DotNetNuke Language Editor to change/adapt any string. Give me your Store version used if you need more guidance, payment providers and email templating system has been changed a lot in the last versions.

Gilles

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Woot .. okay found it ... For those that are curious.. Login as host/ Admin Admin functions > Languages ... Select Edit under site for the installed language.. On the Left open the following structure: Local resources > DesktopModules > Store > Providers > Gatewayproviders > EmailProvider > App_LocalResources > EmailPayment.ascx You can now edit the "CustomerOrderEmailBody.Text" resource to what you would prefer the mail to read... Thanks Gilles ... as you can see i managed to find it with a little digging in the files.. :) PS: Please excuse any spelling mistakes.. Spellchecker going mad at this late hour... Time for bed for me ..
