I just installed DNN following the instructions here:
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Training/InstallingDotNetNuke/tabid/1604/Default.aspx

There are no tables in my DotNetNuke database...
I can't find where they are located.

I believe I selected the Auto option when installing and this is the reason it is happening.

How can I open the DNN tables with SQL Server Management Studio?

which install option did you take? by default DNN installs using database.mdf inside app_code folder, instead an attached database. for details, please read http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryId/1202/DNN-SQLExpress-SQL-Server-Management-Studio.aspx

I am running SQL Express and did the Auto install.
I was able to access the tables after attaching the mdf file in SSMS.
Thanks for your help.
