Hello Guys, I.m new to DNN and I was wondering how one can assign a security role for a user upon registration.
Scenario: I have created "9" Security roles, because I have "9" Sub-Pages and each Sub-Page is visible/accessible only for its members through the Security Roles. What was difficult for me was to let users chose a Sub-Page to be a member and so according to their respective choice assign a security role that corresponds to their choice. Can any body help me on that. And also consider I couldn't afford to buy any modules, so .... . Thanks

Thanks for letting me know my options. And one more thing, can I still use the default Registration Module and add my requirement after the user done registering? i.e. By redirecting the user to another page Eg. "selectRole" and use HTML, javascript and ASP to accept his/her choice then write it to database? If your answer is YES, then How can I read/use the session variables or query string that DNN uses?
