This is driving me crazy.
I created a very simple custom module. The custom module in the ascx page has a few div tags which are turned on or off depending on the page the control is placed on. The control works perfectly on my local DNN 5.06 install on my laptop. When I deploy the control to one of my public DNN sites (also running DNN 5.06) the control loads but the Page_Load event does not fire. I cannot see any errors on the screen or in the event log.

Caching for the module and the site has been turned off.

Does anyone know why the Page_Load event (which fires on my machine) does not fire on the module when installed on another machine?

Thanks for your help. I thought the page_load was not firing since my Response.Write statement in the page_load was not executing.

Actually, the page_load event was executing it was simply that the version of the dll which was executing was not the one with the response.write.

In other words, I updated /DesktopModules/JimsControl/JimsControl.dll. The dll being executed was in /bin/JimsControl.dll. Once I updated the dll in the /Bin directory, the Response.write was printed to the screen.
