I am running DNN locally on Windows 7 / IIS 7. I am unable to send email through DNN.
I have the following SMTP Server Settings under Host >> Host Settings.

[Moderator Edit: The SMTP Server Settings you copied and pasted did not display properly and only contained the labels and help text. Please repost using text only. I did see, however, that you have Anonymous selected for SMTP authentication.]

In IIS I have the following settings:

Is there something I else I am missing?

Windows 7 does not include a SMTP server, this was removed from windows back in Vista days.

There are some good free replacements out there - such as:

Thanks for the links. I installed hMailServer but do not have a domain name.
Will this still work? I just want to be able to send mail through DNN locally for testing purposes.

if you are just doing local testing - localhost should be all you need as a domain name. if you are trying to send emails to the internet however you will need a domain name and a reverse dns record - otherwise there is a good chance you will be marked as a spammer pretty quickly, Westa
