I am building a web site for soccer teams and I want to be able to let a manager register on my site and create a profile called e.g. "My Team Name".

Then I want to let that user (the manager) to add new members (the players) who will then be able to log onto the web site.

Is this possible with DotNetNuke? I know that I can do all this by logging on as superuser but I want a user to be able to add a profile and then add (users) players who can then log on and view data that the manager wants them to see.

What modules can I use for this? Any tutorials that explain how to do this?

Thanks

This kind of group social functionality is not currently part of the core framework, although it being added this year (see blog).  Extensions which have provided this kind of functionality include Active Social and Vivo Social (there may be some other niche players).

In terms of adding users to the website, this is not something that I have seen any social application permit.  Usually, you'd simply want to allow folks to "invite" registration which is pretty easy.
