Silly question of the day!

We have a race (running) site that we goofed up the site registration page mixing it with the race registration.  We are now trying to put the site registeration back together again.  Is the DNN site registration a module we can just place back on a page?

Yes its part of the Users and Roles module.   You will need to turn access to this module on however before it appears in the modules dropdown.
Option Admin -> Site Settings -> Advanced Settings and expand the Host Setting section at the bottom of the page and in the Premium Modules list - move Users and Roles from Available across to Selected.

Create a new page and then drop the Users and Roles module group onto it - delete all modules except the Registration module - THEN
Go back into Admin -> Site Settings -> Advanced Settings and under the page management section - select the page you want to use for Registration.
