Hi everyone,

I am going to need to add some extra custom functionality to the Core Forum Module. I was wondering if anyone could tell what the best approach is to preparing the project in Visual Studio for this. I assume the best choice is to have the website running in IIS and having the Forum Source project open in Visual Studio. But should I install it first into the DNN portal and then add it to VIsual Studio? Can I install Forum Source into a DNN portal or do I have to use the Install package?

Thanks,
Paul

Ok I managed to figure it out. I added an instance of DNN into IIS and added the module following these instrctions:

Unfortunately I am getting build errors but I guess that is a totally different story.
