I have the latest blog module (4.1.0) installed on a DNN install of 5.6.1.  After adding an entry to a newly created blog, the blog list does not indicate the number of entries for that blog....it always shows "blogname (0)".  I have installed the previous blog module 4.0.0) on a different instance of DNN on the same server and the blog list works as expected after adding an entry.  Is this a known bug with 4.1?  Also, why was the Twitter integration tool removed in 4.1?

I'm looking for the exact same solution. I have several sites using 4.0 and the 4.1 ones don't have a count for 'recent entries'.

Anyone found an answer?

Guys, drop the blog module.

The DNN default module is not to be trusted. It has all kind of problems.

Do yourself a favor and spend $25 to get Ventrian modules and use NA as a blog.

I am considering dropping the blog module but how would I get my existing blogs into Ventrian?

I can't believe this bug has not been fixed yet. Surely it must be something simple?

Any progress with this or any idea when it will be fixed before I drop the module?

thanks
Gus

ps: I'm starting to think that most of the core modules are a waste of time.  There's just not enough incentive for people to work on them.
Why doesn't DNN charge something for them and give the developers an incentive?

Hi,
I dont' feel confortable with this answer.
The paid modules have to be an option but the core modules have to take care about the features included and they must work.
It is better not to announce such features if they are not going to be supported.
The image of DNN is damaged.

Regards,
Xavier
