hello william
yes i can access using localhost server name.i installed dotnetnuke directly with this server name before.i also tried ".\sql2008" as a server name(this name i see when i logout from mylittleadmin db management and login again) but no result.

first i created a blank db from my parallel plesk hosting panel with a user name and password.then
i created a .sql file of my local database using sql publishing wizard and then ran this query file
in my created blank database and all tables, others are placed in my db.and then i included this server db
in the connection string.

As others have stated, you have a problem with your connection string, when dnn doesn’t see the db version or if the db version in incorrect for the code version it will begin the install process.

Unless your host has installed sql server or express (not using the default PCName\SQLEXPRESS) on the same computer as iis then it is not going to work.

In plesk, goto databases for the domain, in there it will give you the database server name.
