Greetings!

We're new to DNN and plan to migrate our entire site to it eventually. In the meantime, we're building out the site section-by-section into DNN from our current Linux/Apache-based environment. Our current site is a mixture of static HTML pages, CGI/Perl, jsp, and Oracle's UCM. We'd like to build the new site iteratively - so some of the live content will be in DNN and some of it remain outside until we can work through the entire site.

We're trying to figure out the best way to proceed from here with the server setup. Does anyone have basic guidance on where to start? We're trying to answer questions like:

Can we set up virtual directories under the DNN install into which we'd move the current HTML content that we're not ready to put into DNN?
Or would it be better leave our HTML pages in their current location and link off to them from DNN somehow?
When we begin to add in our jsp content, is the iFrame module built for this? Or should we continue to have these applications stay outside DNN until we're ready to build .NET versions?

I understand that the direct answer to questions like this are wholly dependent on our site. But if anyone has had experience with this type of project, I'm sure anything about the experience one could share, or even questions we should be asking to get us to the right decisions, would be helpful.

Thanks!

Barry
