We're using EALO content localization, and when using the EALO HTML module, we're experiencing browser compatibility issues. I've narrowed it down to a piece of code that the EALO module spits out when rendering HTML content. Basically a "<dnn:" tag is causing Chrome and Internet Explorer to render content improperly, and not close some <DIV> tags on our page.

Is there any way we can get rid of this tag? I noticed it is not rendered in the stock DNN HTML module.

Thanks!

which rich text editor and browser are you using? dnn tags shouldn't be emitted, but resolved by asp.net, if this doesn't happen, there is an error with control registration.

We're using the stock editor that came with DNN 5.6.1.

I replaced the EALO HTML module with the Apollo MLHTML module which doesn't emit any of these tags and hence displays content properly.

Let's just say that building a multi-lingual website in DNN is a very frustrating trial and error process.

there is also another free multilingual HTML module at nuntiocontent.codeplex.com, you may want to try.

Hello Sebastian,

I have never heard of this module. Is it something you would recommend to an old MLHTML user like me since MLHTML doesn't work in DNN 5.6?

Bernard
