Bernard,
there are a number of users who like the UI of Nuntio Content much better than other modules and it is a stable module, created by Philipp Becker, whose Rad Editor provider and page management modules are now included in DNN 6 core distribution.

Hello Sebastian,

I've installed Nuntio Content in a DNN 5.6 installation localized with DSLocalizator and it works perfectly.
Like you mentioned, the UI is well made and it's easy to use.

I have also tried using the module in a "localization enabled" installation of DNN.
Content of the Nuntio module does not appear to be localized when I am logged in as an admin, but when I log out, localization starts working. Same as the DNN text skin object.

Have you heard about this issue before ?

Thank you !

P.S. I'm starting to get a hold at what are the best options (for us) to make a solid dynamically localized website with DNN 5.6. I think I'm going to publish our recipe.

Bernard,
Core "Content Localization", i.e. pages per language, does not include support for multilingual modules; There is currently no implementation for "neutral" modules on language specific pages, which would be needed for localization of page attributes (title, desription etc) and module attributes. There are ideas for adding it to a future DNN version, but no concrete plans atm.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold

Hello Sebastian,

In the case of the Nuntio Content module it is working, but I can only see it when I am logged out.

Let me explain.
I have placed the Nuntio Content module on a page of a 5.6 DNN install that uses core content localization.
I have entered content in the Nuntio Content module for each language tab I had (French and English).

Then I went in the page settings, opened the localization section and I clicked "Ready fo translation" which added a line for the Nuntio Content module in the "Module Localization" table. (see image below)

It is important for the "Is Detached" column to remain unchecked (red x).
I update these changes and go back to my page.

To see it working, I need to log out.
After logging out, I can switch culture with the language switcher and see the results.
The content of the Nuntio Content module gets dynamically localized.

If I try to switch cultures when I am logged in as a superuser, content of the Nuntio Content module remains in my default language.

I have the same "logged in, logged out" issue with the DNNtext skin object in DNN 5.6.
Localization doesn't seem to work when you are logged in as a superuser, but when you log out, everything works.
