Ah, that's different! I'm pretty sure that you can move the position of the login link etc within the skin itself but my skinning skills are zero. I don't believe you can just add them to a HTML page. I expect someone will come along to point you in the right direction.

was hoping not to move it just for this one page...i can do that easy enough though, i'll play with it, its really a matter of whether or not a html module looks at the skin or web dnn instance css for the ID and CLASS reference of the LOGIN

Any further information on this? I am trying to do exactly this. Need to show the Account Login for a logged in user.
The idea is that the user should be able to switch user ID without logging out first.

This is not really possible with the built in login module - since the moment a user is logged in the built in login module switches its state to show ONLY a logout option - all the login fields are hidden.

You would need to build a custom login module to perform this task - or maybe more ideally a custom login skin object - to easily let the login live on all pages.
