Hi,

I have very little experience with using SQL, but i have a question with regards to its capabilities. I have a client who wants to launch multiple websites for different products that will have a shopping cart and a secure pay system. Now, his main concern is on the back end with regards to the databasing -- He (and I) want to know if there is a way for him to keep track of all the transactions on these websites using one database (I assume if I host multiple portals on one DNN instance everything will be aggregated?). We would also like to know if we could separate and sort the data according to what site it came from (so he can see who is buying what product).

If this is at all possible, or if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.

Tracking transactions in the store depends on the modules used for the shop. For tracking user activities, you may either use DNN sitelog (see admin menu item) or IIS site log.
