Hi,

I'm running DNN5.6.0 on production for few months now without any special issue. Two or three days ago I got my event log full with a message telling me that the Purge module cache schedule fail to run with the following reason: "String was not recognized as a valid DateTime". Does anyone have a idea what could be the reason for this, I didn't change something special in the installation except for some Xmod Pro new forms and templates.

Here is the detailed error report.

are you running your site in English (US) or another language/locale?

I too am getting this error running on 5.6.3. I am running the scheduler in Request mode. I set the language on each portal to English (United Kingdom). I have seen a post elsewhere that says the default language for the whole installation cannot be changed, and must be english(US).
Anyone have any ides? To say me event log is overflowing with these errors would be an understatement!

Might it be relevant that I also have XMod Pro installed?

TIA
Steve

These errors continue to appear. I tried upgrading to DNN6. Disregaring the major propblems that prevent me from using DNN6 right now, I did mange to check the event log - sure enough, the module purge errors are still there.
Can anyone suggest any diagnostics I can use to try and track down the underlying cause of these errors?

TIA
Steve

Id recommend running sql profiler and trying to capture what the actual stored procedure is using- that way you can see if it is a valid datetime, or if the issue is with the database collation.
