Environment : Win xp SP3
Build: 5.061
Visual Studio 2010 Pro
Localhost/DNN - Path: c:\projects\compiled\DNN
database: SQL express 2005 - DNNdb.mdf

ISSUE: No Login controls available: TRIED John's method. No result (http://blogs.snapsis.com/PermaLink,guid,3078311e-6925-4c03-8243-d1b9c8a11906.aspx)

I 'had' DNN running under this setup. Ran the install wizard. everything went through. Could login etc. Moved onto the module development portion of learning. Went and followed Chris Hammonds tutorial on module development - http://christoctemplate.codeplex.com/ - Installed MSBuildTasks, Installed the VB Template to appropriate dir.
Create Module: MyModule1 - C:\projects\Compiled\DNN\DesktopModules (do not create folder etc etc)
url to map to http://localhost/DNN
start url: localhost/DNN

EVERYTHING COMPILES UNDER RELEASE - Projects folder has .zip files

Start IE or FF or Chrome - http://localhost/DNN > login > NOTHING...
I can see the MyModule1.Dll files in the bin etc.

Things I have tried:
Delete MyModule1 from Bin and DesktopModules
Delete temporary ASPNet files from 2.05727
Tried Other browsers
Rebooted
Restart IIS

FINALLY ---
Shutdown ASPNet_WP process - Delete DNN folder - Delete DNNdb Database
install entirely new DNN folder from provided zip file - Install entirely new Database.
Run Though setup wizard
Create Accounts host and admin
Site created successfully.
Try to LOGIN - NOTHING

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
