A bit more experience with Microsoft Expression Web (4) in DotNetNuke skinning (although strictly speaking I haven't implemented the mentioned layout underneath in a skin yet).

Trying to implement "3 columns; one left and one right fixed-width sidebar and a liquid center", Microsoft Expression Web (4) shows al columns underneath each other in stead of next to each other. For an example of how it should look click here. (Copying the source of this page and saving it as a html file on your local machine, makes Internet Explorer 8.0 en FireFox 3.6 show it correctly, while Microsoft Expression Web (4) isn't able to.)

See this post for the ascx en css code for the "3 columns; one left and one right fixed-width sidebar and a liquid center; css based" layout / skin. (What the original author called 'the Holy Grail of Layouts'.)

I've started a part-time project implementing those ideas in a skin.  I chose to start from scratch.

The basic layout was pretty easy and it's working fine with basic modules (HTML for ex).

What I have at the moment chokes badly on the forum module.  I have yet to look into why.

Best wishes,
