We updated a site from 4.9 to 5.6.1, and added a child portal.

When the admin logs into the Child portal and does Administrative functions like updating content, adding a page, clicking the "Event Log"... she gets kicked off back to a login screen... sometimes. There doesn't seem to be a parttern as to when this occurs. Sometimes she can create a page, the next time she gets kicked off. She can update an HTML module the next time she's kicked off.

This can happen after she's been in the site for awhile or within the first minute.

There are no errors in the Event log.

The only roles are Admin, Registered User and Subscriber.

When she logs into the Parent site, she has no problems.

I'm at a loss for what to look at... any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I was able to find a pattern, perhaps it will shed some light on the problem.

If I create a page as Admin, then delete it I return to the home page. When I navigate to any other page, I get logged off.

Logged in as a SuperUser, I go to the Super User list... and it shows the Admins, no Super Users.

Could this be part of the problem?
