Hello everyone,

I am using DNN like everyone in here. In DNN 5 we are all living some problems.

For example,

Google Analytics
I am using google analytics in past (before DNN5) we paste the code in html module as source and close module container and click "display this module on all pages" from module settings. Then it is start to get data. But in DNN 5 there is a new page for this under Admin page, called Google Analytics. When you click here you can see 2 fields. YOu can try to add your website ID which is given by google. But after you update there is nothing change. It doesnt work.

I dont know the which version that we can use Google Analytics.

HTML (Text/HTML old name) Module
In one of dnn 5 version you cant change the text color.

Fck Editor Doesnt Work On Google Chorome or Firefox.
Fck editor helps to edit some modules easy and also you can easly move module with mouse.

These are the problems which are important for me. Also if you can add your special DNN 5 problem maybe we can find the best DNN 5 version.

Also I know DNN crew will solve this problem in future versions. I am using DNN till 4 years i have try other CMSs but DNN is the best. With it's creators, developers, and users.

Let's choose best DNN 5 version.

Please tell us your best DNN 5 version.

unfortunately, most of the DNN 5 versions are containing issues making it difficult to choose the right one. From security POV, latest version is preferable, but e.g. do not edit any of the host page settings. You should carefully create a clone of the live site and upgrade it to the desired target version for testing, before upgrading your live site. Regarding GA, check out Advanced version from www.oliverhine.com - and check out Advanced Control Panel as well, IMHO one of the greatest improvement for DNN 5. Instead of FCKEditor, use improved successor from dnnckeditor.codeplex.com or dnnWerk RAD editor provider from radeditor.codeplex.com
