I'm recieving and error message when trying to add or edit fourms from the forum admin area (Manage Forums and Groups)

"Sys.WebForms.pageRequestManagerParseErrorException: The message received from the server culd not be parsed. Common causes for this error are when the response is modified by calls to Response.Write(), response filters, HttpModules, or server trace is enabled. Details: Error parsing near '<BODY><ASP_SMARTNAV_'"

This is a newly created module in a new child portal. There are other forum modules in other portals on the same DNN installation, which do not have this same problem.

Anyone got any ideas?

I've noticed when installing the core Forum module that it likes an application restart, might not be the solution but no harm in trying.

Restart done but no change. It's odd how it doesn't effect existing forums just any new ones I add

Found the problem. It was a specific template that was causing the problem. Replaced it with another and it works fine.
