The localresourcefile is by default DesktopModules\UserDefinedTable\app_localresources\sharedresources.resx. You can change that file by overriding the property for the datatype.

please ignore my previous messages. I made the changes to the function but it is not allowing me to set the validation message as it is a private variable. can you please suggest something?

I commented the validation message line and it worked fine. Thanks for the help.
