Hi Wes and all:
I just posted this as a bug.  This is a major bug that effects every DNN users and people need to be made aware of the potential damage a user with PAGE Edit privs can do to an entire site.  I will now have to discuss with the site owner that he will have to take away PAGE EDIT privs and with it functionality that these users have grown accustom to or try an education process of "don't ever do this" and leave himself open to a future YELLOW site or worst!

I'm a little puzzled for the need to restore the site. Simply undo the changes in the module and apply to all modules again. I've just tried it on my test portal, works a treat.

Hmmm, didn't quite think that through if you had modules with other background colours. Might have been better to have reapplied the background colours rather than restore in that case though.

Pingle:
The PAGE EDIT changes effected all containers on the site.  As my original post said it changed the module container selection as well as the color on ALL containers. When we tried to un-do the changes made we were able to remove the color and reinstate module containers that were set to the page's default, but scatted throughout the site were modules that were not set to the page default but to a specific module container and after we tried to un-do the changes we were left with a big mess.  So the site owner made the decision to do a restore.

However, lets not get off the main topic of the PAGE EDIT security flaw in DNN.
