Hello, DNN newbie here...  I'm having difficulty getting the search module functioning on one our portals.  When searching for words that I know are in the SearchWord table in the database we get 0 results.  I tried a few different things but can't get any search results to populate when using the search bar.  We are using DNN version 5.6.1. Here's a list of what I've done....

1. Made sure the results module had a page.
2. Made  sure the index service was running.
3. Verified there was information in the SeachWord table.
4. Made sure the module had isearchable checked.

The only additional modules installed are the data springs dynamic login, dynamic registration, and data springs user directory.  Any sort of advice would be much appreciated!  We are using the using the standard MinimalExtropy skin with just a few CSS changes so I don't think the skin is the problem. Thank you for any help!  -Andy

On your SEARCH RESULTS page, do you have 1 or 2 modules on the page?

There's a bug in the default template for DNN where the Search Results module actually doesn't get placed on the search results page as it should.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for getting back to me. There's only 1 search result module on the page. Should I remove it and recreate?
