Folks,

A few months ago, I upgraded my DNN version to 05.05.01.

Today, while adding a new page, I noticed a weird behavior.

On my website, menu items show on the top as well as on the bottom:

HOME CALENDAR ABOUT

***contents***

HOME | CALENDAR | ABOUT

I have two machines side by side - one for editing DNN settings and the other to view the changes as an ordinary user.

I added a new page called MY TEST after ABOUT. Set the permissions so that the page is visible by all users.

In my edit machine, I see the following menu items:

HOME  CALENDAR  ABOUT  MY TEST  ADMIN

*** contents ****

HOME  | CALENDAR  | ABOUT  | MY TEST | ADMIN

This is as expected.

Now, when I refresh the page on the view machine, I see the following:

HOME  CALENDAR  ABOUT

*** contents ****

HOME  | CALENDAR  | ABOUT  | MY TEST

Notice that "MY TEST" page does not show up in the top menu.

I kept refreshing the page hoping that "MY TEST" will show up but it did not.

Finally, when I clicked on the bottom "MY TEST" link,  the top menu items got refreshed and now I can see "MY TEST" menu item in the top menu.

This looks like a bug to me.

Regards,
Peter
