Hello,

After creating a copy of our production environment I attempted to set up the copy into a testing environment. I have changed the web.config file to reflect the new environment and verified that a Portal Alias has been added for the new environment but when I try to access the environment the site is excruciatingly slow.

After a few tries I am stuck with the following message:

Server Error in '/' Application.

Hi Christopher,

Did you find the cause of the error. I have got the same error on our production site this morning. I was able to get the site back by restarting the application but just trying to find out more details about the error.

Arif Shah

Same error message on our site on Monday when reviewing the logs. Subscribing to this thread in case anyone with knowledge of the issue comes across it.

Hello guys,

I've got the same problem when I tried to restore the website on my PC. I've resolved this issue by creating a separate application pool in IIS (Integrated mode). Also don't forget about permissions. Hope this information will be helpful to someone.

Thank you,
Jay
