I'm looking to create a Token (update a custom token I have) that will interact with an html element from another token on a product detail.

I've got a token that populates up to 3 drop downs with variant/matrix options (Small, Medium, Large, etc).   I'd like the product image to change when the drop down changes.

What do you think the best approach would be here?

Thanks,

Jay

Hi Jay,

It's not so simple because everything is dynamic in the Store module! May be the simple way is to manage this with jQuery. When a selected value change in one of your 3 combo, you should call a script to request the right image depending on the value and load it in the img tag.

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Gilles,

Thanks.. i'm trying jQuery and have a good start..I'm able to attach events to the variant drop downs, and should be able to target the appropriate images by adding additional css classes to the Product token and then targeting that with more jQuery.

Thanks!

Jay
