 A couple of questions:
What did you update in Portal Settings?
Are you running under a .Net 4.0 Application Pool?

Thx,

Marc,
Which NewsDesk module are you using?

I am writing the module myself. I took a thorough look at the announcements module and then started making a module that answered the requirements of the customer. They run the site now on Joomla but requested additional features. I figured it would be faster to develop under asp rather than to start learning a new development environment. You can see a demo on ksj.cup.edu.kh / the current joomla application can be seen on khmerscientific.com - but without Khmer fonts, you might just see little squares.

I am now one month into the development process, and today I have to start training the editors. Everithing seems to work fine, except when I have to load/save module settings and I have to do a lot of that in the construction of the new portal.I keep a remote desktop window to the server open, and I have to click 'recycle application pool' after every change to module settings.

Luckily, editors have no access to the tab or module settings and the fact that we are beta-testing gives me some leniency.
