Hi All,

I'm hoping someone can help me with this one as I'm stumped. I have my main dnn site in a folder off the top level of my hosting provider, I also have another dnn site and an asp.net site in their own folders at the same level. So it looks like this -

toplevel\MainDnnSite\
toplevel\SecondDnnSite\
toplevel\ASPSite\

In order to get the Google bot to search my main site I had to put in a 301 Permanent redirect to the main site so that when some types in my url they are taken to my main site,

so they type in www.mysite.com and it takes them to www.mysite.com\MainDnnSite\Home.aspx. Everything is fine with this, it works as needed and the site is crawled by the google bot.

(hope you havent fallen asleep yet)

The problem comes when I change my asp.net site in a seperate folder, when a user tries to login after this they get the following error -

"This webpage has a redirect loop.

The webpage at http://example.com/ has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer."

I think this is somehow related to the 301 redirect (if it isn't please let me know because I've exhausted all other options)

So what I want to try and do is move my site from toplevel\MainDnnSite into the toplevel folder so I dont need a permanent redirect. I worried about doing this as I've tried to move sites before unsuccesfully. Are there any guides out there on how I can completey back up my current config and try to move the site, and also how to move the site.

Any suggestions extremely welcome as my users are seriously PO'ed with seeing this message and having to clear their cookies everytime they want to get on the site.

Thanks in advance for any input.
