After the 5.6.2 a lot of things do not work and crash.

I'm switching back to 5.6.1 and here is the latest error from the Forums module:

Costas, are you running on .Net 3.5 or 4.0? did you disable compression in Host Settings?

I'm running Net2, IIS 7.5.

No, actually re-enabled the compression since it was fixed (?) in 5.6.2. I was wrong ?

What puzzles me is that using the portal and the forums, as a user, i don't see ANY of those problems. I have no idea from where they come from.

Yesterday i used HTtracker website copier, to "copy" the web site in my disk, so all the links are visited and i was hoping with that trick the crash(es) would be triggered. But not a single log error.

I'm stucked and i don't know if i should revert to 5.6.1 or stay with 5.6.2.

Sebastian thanks for the help.

I tried to disable the gzip compression and pressing Update, i got a crash. Tried again and no error !!!!

most likely the error is caused by the postback. According to the issue tracker, the compression error has not been fixed yet and is scheduled for a future upgrade (DNN 6.x).
