I have a DNN web site/Application. I would like to create a windows based application that will allow the users to update data on their local machine and then take what they have entered and send it to my websites DB so it can then be seen on line. Essentially syncing a local app with my webapp.

I need to be sure that all data passed between the local app and webapp are secure (will be passing SS# and such).
I need to have the data accessible on the website right after the user enters it locally.

What is the easiest and best way to do this?
please point in me in the direction of where I can go to learn about this.

thanks
