no need to access the database.
just above in the field definition, there are colums for creation and latest access. please make sure to use proper spelling in your filter expression (it might even contain spaces).

The column name is "Created by" so I changed the filter to:
[Created by] = [User:UserID]

And I get a new error AND the module throws an error saying the db is unavailable:
Unsupported Filter Statement (Cannot perform '=' operation on System.String and System.Int32.)

I can just use the "Predefined XSL Transformation" titled "OnlyOwnItems" instead. It isn't formatted like I wanted, but it works ;-)

oops, please refer to latest UDT user manual, you may need to compare to [user:loginname] or sth like this.
