OK I followed this (apparently outdated) tutorial

http://www.codeproject.com/KB/custom-...

BUT I did not use any of the code within the pages just the headers and imports and includes and everthing (Used my own namespace ect) as a building block for my own module. I placed them in the locations required.. and then I added my own module BUT it does NOT add like the screens shows (hence the outdated part) I cannot seem to tell it what pages are module pages (as per the example)

In the Edit Module Control menu:

  • Enter "ThingsForSale" for Title.
  • Use the drop-down to select "DesktopModule/ThingsForSale/ViewThingsForSale.ascx" for Source.
  • Use the drop-down to select "View" for Type.

Then click Update.

none of my modules (or pages) show in the modules lists (its blank) IE:

How do you manually add a module and register all the pages that are associated with this module?

Is there a more up to date tutorial? Downloaded all the PDF's and they give code examples but what do you do with these pages afterwards?

Really new and sorry about the stupid ?

you may register your module manually in Host :: Module Definitions by using "Create new module" and next "from control".
