SEO
When the search engines go through a site does it look at pages of the site that are on a second server??

For example, domain wxyz.com is hosted at a data center.  Can I also have pages for that site on a different server?

The top page is www.wxyz.com/home.aspx.    On that page I have a link to Geneology.wxyz.com   which is a complete website on my second server.  Obviously I have a DNS entry that says  GENELOGY of site wxyz.com is at sever 123,123.123.123 (some IP).

SO as far as the search engine is concerned, does it look at the pages on the second server as part of the site wxyz.com??????

I am not an SEO expert, but found a few links through google for you, which might help you: https://encrypted.google.com/search?q...

Thanks but the link does not work.

Yes, I need to see if I can find an article about SEO.  There seem to be MANY articles, but most are very generic.

Thanks

apparently the editor killed my link, here goes again: https://encrypted.google.com/search?q=google+seo+subdomains.

Bottom line is: sudomains are treated as separate domains, so you would not gain anything by that...
