Hi!

I have done custom login module, but there are some issues I'm having problems with. I need to implement redirection after login based on user role.

in Login.ascx.cs there is final block of code:

public partial class Login : AuthenticationLoginBase
 {
    . //lots of different code
    .
    .
    protected void LoginButton_Click(object sender, EventArgs e){
       ...
       ... //some code

       UserLoginStatus loginStatus = UserLoginStatus.LOGIN_FAILURE;
       UserInfo objUser = UserController.ValidateUser(PortalId, dnnUsername, dnnPassword, "DNN", "", PortalSettings.PortalName, IPAddress, ref loginStatus);
       UserAuthenticatedEventArgs eventArgs = new UserAuthenticatedEventArgs(objUser, dnnUsername, loginStatus, "DNN");

       RedirectURL = "somePageURL";
       OnUserAuthenticated(eventArgs);
    }
}

The thing is, that in inbuilt method OnUserAuthenticated() redirect is implemented. Under Admin/User Accounts/User settings/Redirect After Login is set to none. I've noticed with debugger that RedirectURL property is set to the page where this login module is on (let's call it LoginPage). So what I do is setting the redirectURL to "somePageURL", but the problem is, that method OnUserAuthenticated ignores this settings or probably reloads the setting from Admin/User Accounts settings.

So my question is, how to log in/authenticate the user and than make the redirect to custom page?

Regards,
