Is it possible to add users to DNN using a script (like a cmdlet for adding users)?

For instance say I have a file with a bunch of usernames and passwords and I want to script these into DNN.

Or even adding them via a C# program and automating the task with a bunch of INSERT queries.

I thought maybe it might have something to do with the Client-API but I haven't found any examples regarding this.

Could someone point me in the right direction?

Thank you,

I have a data import running nightly to create users, with certain custom profile fields regarding the data, who then all get emailed and deactivated afterwards. It wasn't too hard to set up.

Try filling in the blanks with this guys query.

his is pretty identical to mine, aside from a few other things I added.
