Hello,
I have installed DNN-Forums 05.00.01 and i thought it was working fine. When I post a thread as a host it is posted ok and all users can see it. However if another user posts a thread OR reply to a host thread it crashes. It says Error: Object Reference not set to an Instance of an Object. Even as a host I cannot enter a thread if it was posted OR even replied by a user? What am I doing wrong? Is it something with the settings?

I saw this happen on a site I used to own, but it only happened once or twice and I never really could diagnose why. I ended up deleting the bad threads to fix things.

Hey Chris thanx for responding. No it keeps doing it and I cant figure out what is the problem. Are there any other suggestions? Is this a bug or is it something I am doing wrong?

SOLVED even if I don't know how and why. I just followed a post in another forum and added the property "Website" in the profile of the users. And like magic now is working!

I just solved the exact same issue in the same manner. I would really love to know why this is needed, especially since I have other sites running the same version of DNN and Forum that never had this problem.
