DNN 5.6.2 using the latest Telerik editor

We have a dnn installation at http://www.ourdomain.com

We have a completely different application at https://www.ourdomain.com  (note the https).

When adding a link in our dnn installation to the https site, the html editor is removing the https://www.ourdomain.com portion of the URL.  SSL is NOT enabled in DNN.

How do I fix this?

This occurs in the fckeditor as well.

In Telerik there is a config setting for MakeUrlsAbsolute. When I turn this on it ONLY removes the "s" part of the https://www.ourdomain.com

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, I have now tried 3 different editors: Telerik, FCK, and CK.

All of them do the exact same thing, which is to strip out the first part of the url even though https:// is actually a completely different server.

I'm starting to think this is something in the core.

I'm not sure when this problem started but it's been within the past month or two.
