HI

I have a DNN Site running on windows server 2003R2 with IIS 6.0. I have 2 websites running on the same server with 2 different hoster values but same port 80.I am getting network Error(Tcp_Error) messages when

1. I log on to the server and choose the DNN website and Click "Browse" and i am getting the error as shown below.

Network Error (tcp_error)

A communication error occurred: "Operation timed out"
The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time.

For assistance, contact your network support team.

2. I get the same error when users outside our network from the internet try to logon to the same website.

But the strange thing is that i am able from a client machine in our netwrok to open the same DNN website(with the host header) and log on to the website to make any modification i want. The only way the website is going to work for external users and on the server when i browse is to restart the server.

I have done the following.

1. Restarted IIS to see if that the problem. Not working.

2. Restarted SQL Services. Not working.

Dont know where to start....troubleshooting.Any thoughts /solutions appreciated

is there a proxy server in front of your web siteor anything else interfering in the communication (including AV software)?
