Hi,
To follow up on my web farm configuration question.

suppose webserver 1 and webserver 2 has their own DNN file system.
IS there a way to configure dotnetnuke to point to a different server. In my DNN host admin I noticed is pointing to web server 1? but lets say I want to use web server 2. How do I do this. Because webserver 2 is the one that has my third party tool needed for synchronization. Since we did an upgrad ebefore, our DNN is pointing to webserver 1, which is not configured to handle the synchrnozation mechanism.

DNN does not actually point anywhere - its just an application hosted on a web server - its up to your webfarm config to handle the hosting mappings and associations.
