Thanks Bill. The issue was due to the location of the image. When I moved the image to ~/dnndev/images folder in my development environment, it shows up correctly on the web page. Not sure if "Directory.SetCurrentDirectory" call work in DNN modules, when the uploaded images are in some other location.

BTW, in the database column the value of image path can be saved either with a forward slash or back slash, both worked.
