Hi All,

Would you please advice if there is an option to make DNN read all localization from single .resx file instead of all scattered .resx files out there?

What particularly confuses me, there are many .resx files with a small amount of records, for instance \DesktopModules\Admin\Authentication\App_LocalResources\Logoff.ascx.resx has just one string, 'ControlTitle_logoff.Text'.

So I would like a possibility to specify one .resx and all DNN core modules would take resources from it. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance,

Andrew.

Andrew, please be aware, that DNN is a platform, consisting of core with many extensions, i.e. a single resource file would not be appropriate. Currently, resource files are structured by controls, allowing to use different localization per use - resulting in multiple same keys in multiple files, but IMHO most features have another side of the cake. I could imaging a translation editor, aggregating all keys and trying to provide a central list for translation, but unfortunately, this is not availabkle atm.
