Hi All,
I guess I must be a little "thick" - what's the url for the RSS feed of the events module? How is it constructed?
The example in the documentation ("…/400/DesktopModules/Events/EventRSS.aspx") is a bit unclear: what's the '400'? Is that a tabid or a moduleid or a portal number or ... ?

Thx in advance for help and/or pointers!
Rgds - Marcus.

400 is just the application directory my site was running when I wrote the documentation. It means nothing special... Cheers Roger

Hi Roger,

thx for the quick reply, but I still don't get it. How is the RSS url constructed?

I have the events module configured for RSS on a page at (let's say) "domain.com/News/tabid/111/Default.aspx". What's the RSS url for that module?

Thx again!
Rgds - Marcus.

Hi Marcus,

If you enable RSS for the module using the events settings on the icon bar, it will enable the RSS icon on thye icon bar. Then you can just click on this and it will show you the url in the address bar.

Cheers

Roger

Well ... duh
Didn't even think about that (I had the iconbar hidden for a cleaner look).

I'm going to go find a corner now and bang my head against the wall for a little while ......

Thx again (and thx for your patience :$ )
M.
